Can a vitamin really help with hair loss? If so, which vitamin is it? How much do I need? Where would I find out about it? These (and several others) questions were asked about Advecia, which is a product that claims to combat hair loss in men and women. We all know the negative results that many people endure while battling hair loss. But what can we find out about how to find a cure for it? Is there something to the myth about vitamins being the secret to healthy hair? Advecia thinks they have found the answers.
They Say:
The Advecia Company claims that mixing several vitamins together will result in hair regrowth. The vital components for this special blend of vitamins consist of Grape Seed Extract, Saw Palmetto Extract, L-Arginine, Proanthyocyanidins, Beta Sitosterol, Green Tea Extract as well as a few others. This special blend simply needs to be ingested like other vitamins to restore and replenish hair loss. Advecia representatives suggest that taking this vitamin blend will ensure hair growth as well as stop hair loss. Spokespeople for Advecia go on to say that taken correctly, overall benefits will include softer skin and healthier overall complexion.
We Say:
Although results were mixed, the majority of the customers polled expressed negative reactions to Advecia. Many claimed that no hair growth occurred and that in fact, continued hair loss was reported. More than one man asked for the return of the money spent on Advecia to no avail. Sometimes advertisements seem too good to be true and Advecia appears to fall into this category. Several customers mentioned their displeasure at the lack of positive customer courtesies and seemed very dissatisfied with the entire process. Although Advecia did not work for many of the customers, perhaps they will seek other possible remedies for their hair loss.
