Symptoms of Male Pattern Baldness

You get out of the shower and comb your hair. You notice, as you do, that there’s a good amount of hair that comes out onto the comb. You shrug it off and go about your day. The next morning you also find that your comb is filled with hair. Some people immediately believe that some sort of horrible disease has befallen them, as a normal person isn’t supposed to lose that much hair. Or is he? There are many rumors about male pattern baldness and about natural hair treatment options that are available to help combat it. Many people, however, still do not know what the classic symptoms of the condition are.

In the Beginning

The first thing that most men notice is a thinning around the temple. Where the hair was once down fairly low, it now is going back and it is showing more of your scalp than it has before. Men who have the condition may notice that their forehead suddenly seems larger than it ever did before, and may also notice that they get colder during the winter months, due to lack of hair. Over time a man will likely notice a thinning, or balding, spot in the back of his head which will be very difficult for many to acknowledge.

Women and hair loss

Women, however, usually have a different set of symptoms to look for. The first thing that they should look for is a good amount of hair coming out of their comb every day, and while it is normal to lose anywhere from 60 to 100 hairs per day, a woman with the condition will notice that her hair is getting thinner. She probably will not notice that she has a receding hair line, as women do not tend to have receding hair lines, but she may notice that she can see much more of her scalp than she ever did before.

The good news is that there are natural hair loss treatment options available for both men and women which can help you to get your hair back into the condition that it used to be in. The biggest trick is to recognize the symptoms as early as you can so that you can begin treatment as soon as possible. The sooner you begin treatment, the faster you will be able to help cure the problem, allowing the product that you have chosen to get to work faster and more efficiently, bringing your hair back to normal in a much more rapid rate. Remember: knowing the symptoms of premature male balding is the best way to figure out when you need to start giving yourself treatment for it.
