Finding Hair Loss Vitamins in the Foods You Eat

As you may already be well aware of, good nutrition is important for your hair. Vitamin C for Healthy Hair

Vitamin C is also a good option. This also works as an antioxidant and can help to prevent other illnesses from attacking the immune system. It is not difficult to get Vitamin C into a healthy diet, so supplementation is rarely needed. It can be found in most citrus fruits like lemons, oranges, grapefruits, tangerines and limes. It can also be found in strawberries, pineapple, cantaloupe, and kiwi. Vegetables are also a good source of vitamin C, especially those that are dark green in color. Tomatoes and potatoes are also a good source of this healthy hair vitamin.

About 60 milligrams is recommended.

Vitamin E

Vitamin E is another healthy vitamin for hair loss. This is an antioxidant, and it helps to encourage proper circulation in the scalp. This can be found in soybeans, seeds, nuts, beans, and leafy greens. It can also be found in some vegetable oils and wheat germ oils.
It is recommended that up to 400 IU be taken. Anything more than that can increase the risk of high blood pressure and discourage the clotting of blood.
