Hair Loss Vitamins

There are thousands of vitamins that may help with hair loss, but a little known one on that list is Inositol.  This particular vitamin is not usually grouped with vitamins that people discuss when they talk about a natural hair loss treatment, but that is mostly due to lack of understanding rather than anything about this vitamin.

Inositol has been linked to the natural growth of hair follicles from the cellular level.  In other words, Inositol is responsible for keeping the cells in hair follicles healthy and therefore is also very much responsible for the promotion of healthy hairs all around.  This makes it a very important natural hair loss remedy, and you can get your daily dose of it from whole grains and citrus fruits.

Regardless of whether you are talking about female hair loss treatment or male hair loss treatment, Niacin is definitely a vitamin that has to be involved.  It is also sometimes known as Vitamin B3 and what makes it so important is the fact that it is directly involved in the circulation of blood around the scalp just like some of the other vitamins that were discussed in a previous post.  The good thing about Vitamin B3 however is that you can get it from different sources like fish, chicken and turkey, allowing you to vary your diet and still take in vitamins that could be very helpful to you in getting things done.  Niacin is definitely one of the best hair loss treatment vitamins out there.

Another vitamin that you should be concerned with is Panthothenic Acid, a vitamin that is also sometimes known as Vitamin B5.  Vitamin B5 is important because it is a secondary vitamin responsible for preventing hair loss.  If you can increase the amount of this vitamin that you have in your blood stream, you can definitely delay the greying process in your hair and you can also quite possibly prevent hair loss altogether.  You can get it from any organ meat or in the yellow of eggs as well.

Vitamin B6 is a vitamin that has been connected to prevention of hair loss as well, although it is really more important because of the fact that it produces melanin.  People know melanin because they relate higher melanin levels to darker skin, but at the same time melanin is also responsible for creating the lustrous colour that hair sometimes can have.  For this reason, you should make sure that Vitamin B6 is part of your diet and you can get a lot of it in cereals and vegetables.

Finally, one last vitamin that you should worry about is Vitamin B12.  This is a vitamin that has directly been linked to hair loss prevention and for that reason it is a vitamin that you definitely want to have a lot of if you are either trying to prevent hair loss or alternatively trying to prevent hair loss from getting worse.  You can get Vitamin B12 from chicken and fish and you can also get it from most dairy products.
